I love this scripture:
Mosiah 15:27
Therefore ought ye not to tremble? For salvation cometh to none such; for the Lord hath redeemed none such; yea, neither can the Lord redeem such; for he cannot deny himself; for he cannot deny justice when it has its claim.
At first you may think its sort of a bleak scripture that shows a God of wrath but really it shows a loving God because the Lord is telling us, constantly, that He can make us better and even perfect, but only that part of our heart that we give to Him. If we don't give Him anything then He cannot help us. Thats why He doesn't just ask for a part of us, but the whole thing; all we can give, everyday.
